Graham, here's another one for you with motoring content, my greatgrandfather JH Clarke (right of pic) at the handing over of the new fire engine 'Albert' to the fire chief, the lady is a local benefactor Mrs Cay, JH was mayor of Kenilworth (28/06/1932)
Grand stuff! Unfortunately, I have none before my father's time. Whether any earlier members of the family had any interest in photography is unknown. I know my Uncle John was a Fleet Street reporter before he joined the RAF pre-'39, but no idea what he wrote. Or who he worked for...
Cheers,
Graham (G4FUJ)

Jays to really look the part you need to be smoking a pipe. It's great uncle Frank perched on the front wheel, his son Francis was lost when the Royal Oak was sunk in 1939
Here I am. Photographs of fire engines. I have a double interest not only from a photographic side but my father used to look after Dennis motors vintage fire engine, as a teenager I spent lot of hours going on various trips with him, polishing away.
