Good luck in your quest!

Is your grandmother likely to have any photos of your grandfather and his car?

Definitely will share the photos. Just waiting for Grandma to find them! She has lived in the same house since 1946 so she has a lot of boxes to look through.

Hello everyone

We have an 'S' reg Morgan 4/4 from new and am (un)ashamedly asking for some help.

My Morgan, wife and I are planning to move to the Sevenoaks area of North Kent in the very near future and will probably need to rent a temporary garage for the Morgan. For our own garage we plan to rent accommodation for a few months to get a feel for the area and try to find a new house. A rental is unlikely to have a suitable garage for the Morgan and we would not be too happy to park it outside under a cover on the road, or in a garden. I've heard that this treatment does not do them much good.

I wonder if anyone in the Sevenoaks/North Kent area has a spare garage that we might rent?

The Morgan is housetrained and would not be likely to fight if it were to be side-by-side with any of the posher Morgans (Plus 4, Plus 8, Aeros etc.) Probably too overawed, in fact.

We shall be coming down from the North East of England next week to find somewhere to live from February and would love to hear from anyone who may be able to help. Our mobile is 07711 513995.

Many thanks for reading this.

John & Ruth

Welcome, your sense of humour will go well with the fine selection of individuals available. 8^)

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Just a thought, but you will be very close to Brands Hatch Morgan, so if all else fails it might be worth talking to them to see if they could garage your car while you are house hunting?
It would also have the advantage of other Morgans to keep yours company.

I'm not sure BHM have any garaging Bud.... at least none I've seen.

I'd offer, but I'm too far away to make it practical.

Welcome...

Two thoughts, what about long term offsite undercover Gatwick parking? No that close but not that far either. Melvyn Rutter does store cars...not close but not too far either.
