I will do my best, it may be that the will want to keep this info. to themselves, however, even if they won't tell me what they have done, if there is an improvement, I will report back, and then your Morgan mechanic in Auckland can contact the factory to find out what he needs to do.
I seem to recall that yours and my cars were both made around the same time, which was in early to mid May 2012? If so, it could be something in that particular production run. As a matter of interest, my steering is far nicer when I am carrying a passenger, with very little in the way of kickback, and almost liveable with if I had to. Is yours the same?
I had my M3 tracking re-set at the factory this Nov - BTW my chassis is April 12 number 163
The difference was amazing!
I asked Mark (?) what had been done and all I could get out of him was "it was quite a bit out" even being non-techy I got this!
Anyway the car now drives like a different car - very little if any bump steer all through the 'box/different speeds - and more certain/solid into RH bends
PaulJ my car is a bit earlier probably March chassis #131, body #140. I havent noted any difference in steering when with passenger, however passenger is 99% the wife who is a real lighweight! Age/wear in the shocks seems to have reduced issues at lower speeds???? In the light of post by M3Boy immediately after yours I am very keen to get the "Standard" settings to check out mine.
It is a bit isolated here, agent on another island and only two 3 wheelers in the North island some miles apart. Would really like to get the latest gen from the factory

Now you have mentioned the "right turn" effect, i must try and objectively (if pos) see if I have the same
I asked John how long the trip across the pond would take and he wasn't 100% certain, but he figured at least a week plus on the boat and probably an additional two weeks plus on the docks, at customs, in transport to dealership. So around a month give or take. Just a guess at this point though really.
Happy new year everyone! Any news on your car Charlie? D-day is drawing near.. bet you're excited...
These linked photos were taken right before the holiday shutdown, right after it returned from road testing. So it should still be at the factory this week I would think. I have one more friend there who may be stopping by the factory this week to see if it is still around.
Will keep you posted!
