The North American International Auto Show is starting on the 19th and I do not see Morgan listed on the official floor map. http://www.naias.com/the-2013-show/floor-map.aspx

Thanks for the advice all. The hotel in Troyes looks ok thanks location and parking wise. Going on to Marseille or Cannes for a few days after Geneva so this hotel in Troyes will serve as a good stop over inbound/outbound.
Hey Dean, I'm sure if I told the hotel my Morgan's surname was Fairchild they'd have no issue with me taking her back to my room!!! (Missus wouldn't be too happy mind!!)
Rob Good things come to those who wait but they've usually been left by those who got there first!

There has been a couple of news stories about notorious lane fines or out of bound roads for tourists in Florence.
The theme was that it is very easy for a visitor to get caught by these signs and cameras and the local council is using it as a cash cow to fleece foreign visitors.
They do now chase other EU citizens - apparently it is now easier. Beware of driving in Milan for the same reason. The centre of Milan (nominated Area C) is now subject to a toll. This has to be paid by phone or at nominated sellers but you then have to register your plate. I can't even find instructions for how to do this in English! Many cities now have ZTLs (Zona a Traffico Limitato) that are camera controled and you can only enter with a permit. I won't say how I know the camera is active for the ZTL in Lecco

I'm looking at going to the Geneva Motor Show this year (7th to 17th March) and I'm going to drive down with my wife.
Anyone know a Morgan friendly and decent hotel that is not too far from the exhibition (i.e. one where you can park safely where they don't cram you in like sardines!!).
I'm going to go over on the Euro Tunnel, do an over night stop on route to Geneva and the same on the way back so again, if anyone know's of a good Morgan friendly hotel on route it would be appreciated.
Also open to any tips about travelling in Europe in a Morgan (done plenty of travelling in other vehicles so know the general requirements i.e. triangle, hi vis etc..).
Thanks all. Before you book look at Carpe Diem 53 Grande Rue, 89440 Massangis, France You will love it... my wife and I have stayed several times the rooms are fantastic and the food is brilliant. The hosts are very attentive and best of all the parking is completely secure as the hotel gates are always kept locked. Phone number Tél : +33 (0)3.86.33.89.32 ask for Patric. Bon Voyage
