Can I have a go in a Lancaster please? My grandad was a top/tail gunner and I would sorely love to fly in one

Not sure I fancy vintage aircraft.....
I'm wearing this today, I haven't worn it for ages. It actually has a motoring connection.

I fancy a ride in said Lancaster.
Most of all, I'm still looking to get a seat in a DC-3 cockpit and a flight somewhere further aft...
Cheers,

I rather fancy the Lancaster ride too....its on my list of things to do this year...hopefully! I don't know how long they will be offering the rides...the plane is on its way to being made airworthy at long last.

I saw this as well, and as my Uncle was a mid upper gunner in WW2, it made me think I'd like to do that. I reckon it will be a minor miracle if they get a certificate of air worthiness this year, so as soon as the weather improves I'm pointing the Mog towards Lincs and booking a taxy ride for sure.
