Henrietta needs a clean, but my bucket froze over whilst I was feeding my chickens cold

Earlier this morning, I managed to get to Bristol with fuel gauge below zero scared. Exited garage just above zero, turned right dropped below zero ! 15 miles of low revs and gentle right foot. Got to petrol station without the need of the AA Recovery truck.

Must fill up below a quarter
Must fill up below a qaurter
Must fill up ... etc

I took mine into London today.

I feel like a pioneer.

A foolhardy adventurer.

Impossibly brave.

Etc

As you can see from my Avatar I ventured into the Grimey Village last week, it felt surprisingly relaxed and comfortable compared to the Devon Lanes and Chelsea Tractor dodging at the height of summer.

Well done Neilda thumbs

Er! At least you didn't arrive at the pump to realise that you had left the locking fuel cap key at home pantsdown blush banghead

Just out of interest...... Why would you keep that key separate from the ignition key?

No intention of rubbing salt in the wound of course. smile

My son in law came over one day and fitted his steering lock (wheel cover) before realising that the key was 20 miles away at home..................
