We secured financing today. The salesman told us about a local credit union where others have had good luck. So we went there and in less than an hour we joined, got 2.19% for the Morgan and refinanced the CTS-V at the same rate! It's officially official!

Squiriz, that is a low rate, even beats mortgage rates in the UK.

I can hear the distant rattle of passports being withdrawn from draws as people head to Heathrow to buy the Land Rover, even left hand drive.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I think if you went into a credit union in the UK to borrow £30,000 for an exotic toy it would raise a few eyebrows!
It would be the equivalent of wearing a dinner jacket (tux?) to a soup kitchen.
Or have things changed?

I do not think that it is that far out of line in the US. People get loans for Harleys, classic cars, boats, jet skis, snowmobiles, atvs, and so on, with many that cost far more than the 3 wheeler. And with super low interest rates readily available, there has never been a better time to finance a little fun on the side.

Or have things changed? Maybe Credit Union is something different over there? Here they are just like banks but they operate differently on the inside. The loan officer did say "Not many people walk in here and leave with a hundred thousand dollars!" That made my Wife feel good because she built her business from dirt.
