Re the factory service - what do they charge, are they good at booking in for a given date? I'd like to have one carried out, fit in a factory visit, an overnight stay, a meal out, and some walking!

I feel like doing my own servicing, but on a 2009 Plus 4 would the lack of Dealer stamps affect the value?
I have had services done at 2 different Morgan dealers, one used Fully Synthetic Oil, the other semi. Which is right?

I don't have a lot of experience of Morgans, but I'd say that dealer stamps maintain value rather than enhance values. A car serviced enthusiastically at home compared to a fully dealer maintained one, is never going to be quite as attractive to a buyer.

But maybe your +4 is a keeper which you won't sell.....

Semi/synthetic is always a debate! What does the handbook say? There's a view that fully is better, depends also on general ambient temperatures too.

I have my 2009 Plus Four serviced at the Factory every year..they are not cheap but car feels totally transformed after they have worked their magic.
They want the car at 8:00 am which means a very early start for me for a 100 mile plus drive on deserted Welsh and Marches roads to Malvern.
I then take the train fom Malvern to New Street to spend a day confirming my dislike of "the modern shopping experience" redeemed only by a couple of excellent bookshops.
The car is usually ready at 4:00pm and I then have the onerous drive back to West Wales on quiet roads in the car which feels taut, responsive and a real pleasure to drive.
No one other than the the factory has put a spanner on my car, I'm not sure what effect this has on the car's value but it certainly is not negative.
The total bill last Feb with MOT came to £641 inc vat.
It is worth every penny, at least it is to me.
Regards

One Mog man takes the train to Kidderminster and spends the day on the Severn Valley Railway.
Dealer stamps are all very well, but if you recall, my Roadster had three dealer stamps and not one had checked the gearbox oil, including the supplying dealer. I knew this because the hole in the tunnel didn't match the level plug, and the insulation had not been cut to allow access. The pictures are on one of my servicing threads.
