my point was really we can all make a difference it's just finding how / what we are best able to do. Cheers guys  Agreed Graham and as per the comments of the others, congratulations on finding one that you feel passionate about.

Lucy Morris's interview is now live on Driven at Heart (the link is direct to the audio interview). It is a compelling listen and gives a very clear insight into why we all feel so passionate about taking part in the Nordkapp Challenge to support the Marfan Trust UK. What a brave young lady she is and the fact that her family had to fight for the correct diagnosis makes our goal to increase awareness even more compelling. What a brave young lady.  I've heard from Alison the events that led up to Lucy's diagnosis but it does make you wonder, if 1 in 5000 have the syndrome that means around 14,000 people in the UK are potential sufferers and I must admit I'd never heard of it before. If it wasn't for Alison's determination Lucy might not be with us now. I just wonder how many parents amongst the 14,000 are sitting wondering what's wrong with their child. I just hope our efforts will help in some way.

It closes 3 weeks before we arrive. Certainly not cheap, but we do overnight about 10 miles from one of the ice hotels.
