I'd rather go the otherway and have a 24h variant...
But, as I seem to destroy watches fairly easily, I'm not going to spend lots of money...

You need a Vostok Graham.....get the impression you could drive a tank over it and it would still work!

I ordered a Vostok and I am very happy with it.
It runs perfect on time, looks great.Shipment from Russia without problems.Only the metal band has some sharp edges.
I will recommend to everybody!

Rudolf thumbs

I think I've got one of these coming Steve:

http://www.russia4u.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=433898

Seems to be a bit of an error between PayPal and the site - will need to read my emails when I get home. Wonder how quickly I can break it? laugh2

I liked the look of the 24 hour watch near the bottom of:
http://www.russia4u.co.uk/categories.php?cat=7
But they don't have any.

Cheers,

As I mentioned to Jays, Zenitar on eBay is an excellent seller and I have his direct mail address, so you can save even further on the purchase price. Bang for buck, these are superb automatic watches. The metal straps are rubbish but they look far better on a NATO or vintage leather band anyway smile

It was a good recommendation Simon...thanks. So far its kept pretty good time and a good power reserve. Changed the strap to a leather one although I'll probably get a Nato style one for it. Its crown is rather fascinating...luckily I read up all about it before otherwise I would have thought something had snapped!

Amazing value for a mechanical watch and faultless service from Russia, in fact I've never received so many e-mails regarding confirmation and progress!
