Change the hood to a darker colour and I could live with it .

Every time I see an Aeromax I think if I ever bought one new (unlikely) I'd have paid the factory good money to put trad headlight cowls and normal lamps on to get rid of the cross eyed beetle lights that to me ruin them.
I therefore find this picture quite ironic as it appears someone has done almost the precise opposite...

Aeromax has R52 (Gen 1) MINI headlamp units. Early Aero 8s had beetle lights. So the factory must have agreed with you...
