Little boy gets home from school and says "Dad, I've got a part in the school play as a man who's been married for 25 years."

His Dad replies "Never mind Son. Maybe next time you'll get a speaking part !!"

Well done Ian.
Unfortunately, swmbo and I have finished the last lot I brought back from a butcher in Lockerbie at Christmas.

I have worked out that 100% of mog owners like food . Try Stornaway black pudding ( they will post it out to you ) . Ask Keith at BHM it melts in your mouth , made with beef dripping and caramelized onion its not stodgy its very light . The differance between a Cadburys Whisper and Asda smart chocolate.

It's excellent stuff Jack had the good fortune to do a few months work up there and another of their specialities is clootie dumpling - best flash fried and it comes withyour Full Isle of Lewis breakfast if you look like a hungry lad or Morgan driver.

My gran used to make Clootie puddings when I was at school lunch time wed & fri I had twice the distance to run to her house as my older female cousin did . I was quicker than Usain Bolt and first at the table every time , it used to worry the hell out of me in case she got my share . No microwave rubbish in those days homemade treacle or jam pudding with proper custard to follow . Never ran back to school just a slow walk with a full belly .

Yes, I suspect we probably are thumbs laugh2

Must try that black pudding JT - I've been buying some superb stuff from the same butcher in Lockerbie, from where I get the Haggis, and Fruit Pudding and Lorne Sausage...

Now, I shall have to raid the food van that visits every morning - too much talk of food - I'll never get into one of those pilot jackets (nor the bucket seat on a +4SS come to that! rofl ).
