Alas no. SWMBO had better idea for the folding pictures on HM.

Agree, there are rather a lot of those involved, but then you cant put a price on safety, especially when it is SWMBO's head you'r protecting.  Would not be so bad without the manhrs, but it doesn sound like a DIY friendly project. Jasper

SWMBO doesn't often go in the car given the lack of that big yellow thing in the sky. I am not sure my DIY skills are up to it either so I opted for the folding wind screen & aero screens this year. The rest of any remaining folding pictures went directly to that nice Scotsman in number 10 via rates,fuel,income & road tax hikes.

I have a Safety Devices (with diagonal brace) bar on my 89 plus four. I'm sure the complete bill was less than 500 gbp but that was ten years ago - can prices have gone up so much? Looking at it now I'm pretty sure that I could have done it myself. It was occasioned by a hay bale being knocked from a passing trailer by a low branch. The driver didn't stop and probably didn't notice. It took ages to get all the hay out of from inside the car . My neck has never been quite teh same since. Meabh.
