Very true and quite the same as Cambridge too  Don't you get sick of all that lying - Bankers, Politicians we expect but a cyclist come on now, I am seriously begin to doubt he ever set foot on the Moon now ... Amsterdam is a bit like the Tour de France....full of people on bikes high on drugs

Husband takes the wife to a disco. There's a guy on the dance floor giving it large - break dancing, moon-walking, back flips, the works. The wife turns to her husband and says: "See that guy? 25 years ago he proposed to me and I turned him down." Husband says:  "Looks to me like he's still celebrating!"

Hope I'm not offending anyone; The Pope was flying back to the Vatican in his private jet together with the archbishop after an unofficial visit to the UK. The Pope was quietly enjoying his cross word puzzles. A while passed then he turned and asked the archbishop "what's the 4 letters word that relates to women and ends with the 3 letters U-N-T?" The archbishop stared hard at the Pope and said "try AUNT". The Pope shook his head then said "can you pass me the rubber"

Yes Giles that whole EU speak is percolating across to the "Insel" and it's not improving anything - Blair embraced it and the rest is history and none of it good for us. I have worked with Aussies overseas and we see life the same way and I love their whole approach to life. If they take a dislike to you make sure you make the first strike count, because they just keep on coming at you physically or mentally and that's part of what makes them a great Nation.  Love them they are treasure in todays H&S, PC nonsense (EU driven) talk about anything apart from what you really mean world we have found ourselves descending into.
