oops.. I forgot my two lovely daughters..
Nice to get to know a little more about at least 9 of the 2,686 members of the forum.. thanks for the honesty. It makes me realise how the grim reaper has treated me kindly so far.. (major touch ash-frame).

Sorry.....I posted last night and then on reflection thought it was a bit too personal so deleted it. I'll repost a somewhat modified one later.

I went through the suit and tie stage in the mid 60s , one night my mate and me heard of a night club opened up in Seaham Harbour ( a mining village ) we where both in black suits white shirts and bow ties . When we got their it was not open he got the date wrong so we went into a local pub full of hairy arsed miners in work clothes knocking pints back . By hell did they have a field day taking the p*ss out of us, harmless fun . My mate never learnt he took a girl home from the rugby club and stood snogging outside her back gate out came her tiny Glaswegian mother with a broom and clouted him with it then chased him down the street wacking him with the broom all the way . I would have been off, he was trying to say I was only kissing her good night, we all still roll at that. Best one was at the local caravan site 3 girls in a caravan and my mates all towered above me chatting them up through the open window as we stood outside , I could not reach to get a word in so stood no chance as they laughed and called me short arse . Then we heard " get away from my daughters " their dad had returned from the pub with his dog on a lead we where off like a bat out of hell . My little legs could not keep up with those three giants and I thought he is going to catch me I have not even spoken to the girls he will never belive me and feed me to his huge dog .As my mates sped away from me they all fell on the ground . I shot past and made it back to my dads van jumped in and locked the doors . My three tall mates returned had been caught and given an ear bashing off the bloke . As they ran between the caravans they did not notice a washing line streaching from one van to another and ran into it . It hit them in the throats and they fell over each other . I being the short arse had shot underneath it . I roared with laughter as they tried to take the p*ss out of me and call me everything they could about being short that night. The cream flairs was one of my fashion mad moments I could hardly sit could not dance and parts of my body packed like sardines in a can yet I thought I was the dogs bollocks , my mam and dad thought not. Another time I had a black suit on and my brothers white leather high heeled boots .
So when I see kids in odd clothes I just think well get it out of your system I did who am I to judge I must have looked like a fooland was . Now its quality stuff in the wardrobe that lasts .
