Chaps,

Main / Full Beam / Horn failed this afternoon. Weird thing was that the full beam light stayed on for sometime (and couldn't be switched off) even after key out....

So, not just a fuse then... Where should I be pointing my mechanic..?

Thanks in advance.
Paul

Hi Paul,

Tell your mechanic that your horn/dim/dip stalk has failed. That is the one on the left of your steering wheel. You can get another from the Factory or any Morgan dealer.

I had a similar problem which was sourced to the Dim/Dip module on the 4/4. Removed the module and problem went away. flag

Paul,

Phil could well be right. The same wires go through the dim/dip module too. Good thinking Phil!

Get an early triumph stag one as they are the same and only £12 on ebay, rarther than £70 plus vat. You need one with a slight kink.

Happend to me to.. I take it is a 80s plus 8, so the same period of switch as 87 car.
