Gentlemen:

I am looking for a 4.2 litre 6 cylinder engine which fits an XJ6 Series 1. I don´t mind if it is from a Series 2 or 3, or from a 420.

The engine should be in a reasonable condition, i.e. not in need of a rebuild. I would prefer an engine which is still in place and running in a donor car so that compression and oil pressure can be measured.

My engine is damaged (cracked block) and cannot be rebuilt.

Thanks,
Andreas

Hi John,

only in ebay Germany so far. I didn´t really dare to bid on an engine which is in the UK because I couldn´t inspect those on short notice.
