On behalf of the Marfan Trust UK and all the Challenge team, thank you very much for your donation.

Wow - great to see the total rising rapidly now with big £££s from Brown Brothers and PPG. And of course the TM'ers.

Absolutely brilliant

We are meeting with Marfan Trust UK this evening to discuss all the facets of our trip and I'm sure they are going to be bowled over by how strong the support has been.

As before, thank you so much for getting behind this great cause and supporting this little known syndrome.

If i had the Paint Business that goes into Morgan, i too could make a Donation that big.

I've just seen a donation from Hopwood and a few others (I cannot tell if tell if they are TM members or not); therefore, I wanted to post up a thank you on this thread.

The Marfan trust are over the moon with the support being shown to their cause. As we have been saying on Twitter, there are over 9,000 people in the UK who are currently unaware they have Marfan syndrome. Due to the stress the disorder puts on the aorta, a missed diagnosis could be fatal. Lucy was lucky to have parents who pushed for her to be checked; however, knowledge empowered this. Therefore, the more awareness we can raise, the better the chances of diagnosis are.

Donations total has topped £10k, lets hope the momentum continues. Looking forward to the gathering on 5 May.

Morgans at Prescott May 5th has been cancelled. So, I thought I'd come up to the factory to see you guys off.
But has decided we should go away for a few days - so I might be on/near Exmoor instead. Her birthday in April clashes with a Prescott comp weekend, so I'd better book something!

Thank you to those who have recently donated; I noticed Graham's name but there may be others from the site.

The fund raising is going well and having spent the time with the Trust, we know the money is being used carefully and for valuable research into how to save lives.

Surely "I've arranged a mystery tour around the Malvern Hills, dear, with perhaps a brief refreshment stop in the town followed by a pleasant drive down to County Gate" would have covered all bases Graham

You planning to be at Prescott the following Sunday for the Rotary Claasic Car event? (Cant remember what you said earlier )

I have a navigator for the Saturday Cotswold Tour - Claire from MogMag.
I'm not booked to marshal on the Sunday, but it's always a good day out, so lets hope for plenty of and I will be near the start line in a deckchair with any luck. I'll be signed on as an official, offering assistance wherever...
