You are right - we modified a pin badge and used self adhesive tape to fill the gap in the centre dash. It looked a bit bare with nothing there - so glad you like it.
We also asked Morgan to upgrade the right hand switches as originally there were 3 blanks - not ideal. As you can see we have all 5 buttons now presesnt - although only a couple are wired in and live. Still, it looks much better.
Hope you have fun with your new Roadster, we love ours.....oh yes we also upgraded to the aero exhausts as the originals were silent. The aero exhausts give a nice rumble when powering on but are fine for crusing as we spend a fair amount of time in europe at c 80 mph plus , so dont want to be deafened, so the aeros are a nice compromise.

Great to hear from you. I snapped the pictures of your Roadster - I thought it was a stunning car.

I like the arrangements of the switches as well - it looks a lot better. How did you do that and where did you source the switches from? Looks like I will have two spare switches on my Roadster and I would like to use them if possible. Perhaps I can operate a pair of spots from one switch.

I went to the factory to look at my car today. It’s in the Trim Shop and looking great. It was fascinating to watch the build process and in the end my dealer had to drag me away or else I would have spent the day there getting in every one’s way. Here are some photos - colour combo is Sport Black and Saddle Brown.

These are my bonnet wings -

Gotta love the fuel filler with its dinky little keys -

I like the brown carpet as well. I think it will tone well with the Saddle Brown leather and the wood steering wheel.

Very pleased with the look - I wanted to go for an “Old School” look”, with a flat body colour, old style hood and Morgan Script Badge on the rear deck (and they have already drilled the diagonal slots for the badge to be fitted on the rear deck in the traditional jaunty angle). Can’t wait to see the finished car drive

Looks fantastic and it must be great to see your own car being built.

i am suprised they have unprotected trim with all those sharp tools and interior work in progress.

system must work for them by now, but looks like an accident waiting to happen.

David, I saw my motor, twice, at the factory whilst it was being built. Overall I enjoyed that experience. However your heart is worrying about the tools and bits and pieces on the car. Once you take delivery and you check out the various concerns you had at the time, you relax and realise that there was nothing to worry about. I guess if the leather did get marked they would replace it during the quality checking process.

No worries here. I saw them working on the car today and I thought they were taking the greatest care, working methodically and diligently. But perhaps that’s because I was watching rofl

Yay! The sun is definitely on its way too.

I spent a while watching my Roadster at roughly the same stage of build as yours... The last couple of weeks are quite a count down.

There are a couple of other 3.7 Roadster owners in and around the Home Counties. If that's not an excuse for an occasional summer beer, I don't know what is!
