Like Jeremy. im mechanically inept, so the thought of doing it myself makes me cringe. i would go elsewhere but recently at a Ford garage the service manager asked me first if my morgan was a kit car and then what engine it had. so on this first occassion ill drive it the 80 or so miles and pay the price.
thank you Richard for the view of the service bill.

Glad to help Kris, the Fiesta 1.6TDCI Titanium that I use as my work "toolbox" service costs are :- 12,500mls first "short" £150.40 - 25,500mls Brake Fluid change, Pollen Filter renewal £207.31.
I think relative to the Morgan which is a special car needing a fair bit more attention than the Ford, it shows Morgan servicing costs in a favourable light in my view.
One thing you often hear is that Morgans are over serviced and I think that maybe true. I share Dean Royal's view and were I to have mine garage serviced it would be every other year. You are paying £7.70 per week before you have turned a wheel and with limited mileage insurance option or SORNing for a few months it turns into fairly high standing weekly cost.
