Do dogs and Morgans mix?
I used to have a golden retriever who loved sitting in the back of my mini convertible.
A friends cocker spaniel also enjoyed
I have photographs of my parents Irish setter sitting in the back of their BSA Scout (4 wheel version).
so do mogs and dogs mix?

Don't see why they shouldn't, provided they fit! The Mighty Basto is a dalmation/ greyhound cross and there just isn't room for him on my +4 2-seater :-( Even if there was, I think I'd worry about him jumping out, he's got the road-sense of a pheasant...

I have had Staffordshire bull terriors since I was a child . One was a gentle giant . If I was working in the garage he would stand in the yard and give one bark , never more . It was hey I am out here dummy get the door open , if I ignored him he did it again .He would ride in the seat and the wind would blow up his nose that made him sneeze on the dash etc . At the light's or over taking anyone he would sit and look at them his big mouth open and a set of huge teeth . If I was under the car he would lye on the garage floor and if I jumped in the mog without him he would go and sprawl out on the floor in front of the mog , you aint going without me . The one after him was differant loved the garage but never barked and never wanted to get in the mog he would not have sat still . I had a pal in Newcastle with an German Shepherd and a photo of it sitting in his mog with flying goggles on . My old mans first car was a BSA Cub 3 wheeler ( bright yellow ) a photo of me sitting on the bonnet as a baby was given to me a little while ago by an aunt . I remember my dad saying he was for ever changing the clutch somthing about it having a leather content he said .

I have been taking our 1 year old Cockapoo in the Mog's passenger seat to get him used to the wind and noise and he just curls up and sleeps. Unfortunately he has grown to twice the expected size and is all legs so is not a welcome lap passenger, Yet!!!   However, He has had one 10 mile outing with us to West Wycombe Classic Car show (photo below). He will be going to Lay Hill Bucks with us on Sunday Afternoon (A nice Country Village Green Classic Car Show) as its not too far. My next plan is to see if he will fit into and take to the Back Shelf (with internal extension). We have a Seat Belt Harness but could do with a Single to Double adaptor of some sort. Plus a Rear Shelf Belt Clip if that one works. The biggest issue is that most of the places we like to go (National Trust - Brooklands etc) won't allow Dogs.

A fairly well known Cornish 4 seater owner certainly used to carry the dog in the back.

Treacle, the cocker spaniel who has been our house guest for the last 3 years while her owners have been in South Korea is already familiar to TM regulars, and was already an enthusiastic Morganeer when she came to us as her owner has a plus 4. She finds the cut away doors particularly comfy for resting her chin on so she can have her snout out in the breeze. If we're 2 up she will lie down on the rear shelf. It has to be said that she's a good size for Mogging. The two newfies Bentley and Charlie Brown pictured here match my colour scheme perfectly, but would struggle to fit in the car

Yes they do, we have a 1 year old whippet. It's a medium sized dog, and it lives comfortably behind the seats. The whippet only weighs about 16 kg, but has both long legs and "nose to tail". When we need to take extra luggage it sleeps in the passenger footwell between the passengers legs. I have built a "dogbox" for the space behind the seats. Its 12mm plywood with some hinges. A layer of foam in the bottom and fleece on the insides makes it comfy for the dog. Covered in IKEA fabric so that the plywood does not rub on the leather interior. The box folds flat for easy entry/exit from the rear space. Here are some images of the process, and the finished box:
