Late? I feel like I've missed a week... Sounds promising Andy. No doubt you already have the nurses in fits of laughter. Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.

Thank you fellas, just seen by my 'team', pleased with progress and should be home today or tomorrow. Waiting on one last 'function' to perform Then results of investigation into what they took out to see what continuing treatment is needed Fingers crossed and all that
Cheers

Andy I have just read this thread and I am very sorry to hear of your diagnoses. I hope all goes well for you. I know what you are going through as my mother has recently been diagnosed with colon cancer as well. Have you checked out the Beating Bowel Cancer website? They have excellent forums and a nurse helpline as well which is very good. We have found it a god send over the past few months - http://www.beatingbowelcancer.org/

Wishing you all the best. No doubt you'll be behind the wheel and roaring around the roads in no time.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery Boshers. That reminds me that I must get on and get tested myself. I received (as everyone in France does when they turn 50) a letter inviting me to poop in a jiffy bag & post it back for analysis which has been sitting in my in tray. I will now stop procrastinating.

Think yourself lucky it was not Dr. Jekyll , knowing the Morgan lot . When my mate had a horrific crash he was in for a good while and going stir crazy , I sneaked in his clothes put them in his cupboard and when he could get up, he went to the loo got changed and met me in the pub along the road to have a few beers then some fish and chips and head back happy to his ward . When do you want your clothes . 10:30am on Saturday morning 3.5 hours after I was brought out of recovery 4 hours before visiting timevstarts my friend walks in with a bunch, masquerading as Dr Jarman

I've just done my test...more involved as the NHS seem to like you to get down and dirty and scrape 6 samples with little cardboard spatulas!
