I am really struggling to sort the indicator problem on my plus 8. Got in the car the other day indicators worked ok then speed of flash slowed down, then they stayed on permanently. Thought it may be the flasher unit but i am struggling to find it. The 2 little silver grey cubes behind the glove box I thought were the flasher are I now think just relays. Anybody got any suggestions?

The car is 1995 3.9 injection, and the hazards just stay on as well.

I believe the flasher unit is under the dashboard near the stearing column. Hope this helps. They can be round or square in shape. Dave

Try putting the indicators/hazards on and listen for the clicking sound. That should narrow down the location. Then ID it as a cube unit (usually black in colour)in a 3 pin multiplug.

'cept if the indicators aren't flashing, there will only be the initial click as the lights switch on. Not certain, but I suspect there are two relays, one for normal direction indicators and a second for 4-way flashers  . If neither are working I'd suspect an earth fault somewhere (although that could manifest itself in many ways). Suggest you check the wiring and connectors around the rear lamps first - take the bases out of the holders and lift the spare wheel out to get better access to wiring behind rear panel. Then check the fronts... 'Murphy' says the fault will be at the front if done in this order  . Good luck!

If like my 97 +4 the flasher unit is in the sphagetti of wirirng directly behind the central 4 gauges

Just delved under the dash of my '93 +8. The flasher unit is a small black plastic cube, taped to the wiring harness, and is, as John says, just behind the centre instrument panel. Both the hazard and indicator functions use the same flasher unit (not always the case), which could explain why both functions seem to have suffered the same fate on your car.
Worth checking the wiring, though, as Graham suggests.

Indicators not working caused by corrosion on the bulb holder. Took 2 minutes to fix as I happened to unscrew the offending lamp first.
