For anyone who is curious about my views on the current Italian political mess can read about it on http://blog.bradley.it/I started writing it to explain the situation to my brother who lives in country Australia and then finished up publishing it on my blog page. It is very much the view of an outsider looking in from the inside - if that makes any sense.

Fascinating, if somewhat disturbing insight into Italian politics Then I got sucked into reading the rest of your blog Peter!

Great analysis Peter. I spent 10 days in Tuscany a couple of years ago and love Italy and its people, but the system sounds like it needs a complete change.
Can't understand why they put up with such a corrupt system.
Had a quick look at Beppe - convicted of manslaughter in 1980, (crashing a car that kiled three people) wants a 20 hour week and suspension of interest on Italian debt.
He also campaigns on environmental matters despite owning a Ferarri and motor yacht.

Really enjoyed the blog and photographs, the ride through France looked terrific.
I have some Italian chums and find the culture and politics of Italy both beautiful and confusing in equal measure. The fact that so many regard taxation as a personal choice has some impact on the economy!
The thing is, when an Italian explains it to you, over a glass of Amarone, it sounds so damned reasonable!!

Fascinating reading and I to read your additional material. Your experience at the factory and journey back to Italy sounded great.

The Plus 4 sounds very sweet with the exhaust reverberating off those stone walls! Great videos, thanks, Gerry.

Thanks for that Peter, very interesting view on Italian politics. Beppo Grillo, a comic politician?, sounds like the UK!!! Excellent blog and vids I am looking forward to my trip to Lake Garda in the Mog in late summer.
Many Thanks, & drive safe Tony
