I was looking for a M3 build Book, and found one at www.brightonmotorsports.com/node/1416Numerous high def photos gives great insight into the build process. I never realized the body was one large form, made in a press. The frame is quite robust.

Never had one myself but they do look good value and add provenance to the vehicle.

Loved this set of pics - amazing isnt it?  I have seen M3s being made at the Factory - I own one - and yet still cannot resist gawping at each pic  nice colour too
