Far far better, but if its a one man doing it you set it up and are miles out its in and out of the car many times . Get swmboto help I run my view off the edge of the rear wings and get a wide area .

The only way I could set the nearside ( standard) mirror was by bending the mirror frame, so I can't see it being worse. Is the view better than the standard mirrors?

Its no fun getting in and out of the mog for a twist here and a turn their setting them up to find a tiny twist is miles out when you sit down in the drivers seat and look at the nearside ( RHD ) . Best get a mate to help you while you sit in the mog and tell him a twist to the left a bit to the right , you know the score. I tried it by myself and called it a day .

Have you complained to the dealer and/or factory about them, and if so what was the answer? At £40k+ that is totally unacceptable.

I found them dead easy to adjust from the driver's seat ( with side screens off)

No, I reckon that at best I'd get another pair of the same. Also, it's virtually impossible to adjust the nearside standard mirror, so replacing them for a decent pair was a win/win.

I can adjust my near side from the drivers seat with ease.

But then my knuckles do drag on the ground as I walk.....

Loads of classic owners seem to complain about the crappy standard mirrors and some replace them even without rust.

My dealer advised I change them when I picked up my car because of poor adjustment.

It's such a cheap easy fix for MMC and would improve customer satisfaction at a stroke.

Why are they prattling about with bikes, while ignoring something as daft as this problem - we should not be discussing rusty, piss poor mirrors in a nearly new car.

They probably bought a large job lot of chrome mirrors years ago...so Ian's mirror is not really 9 months old!

I asked my dealer to ditch the standard Mog mirrors (interior and exterior) on my new Roadster before I take delivery. He is going to replace them with the Librands mirrors - they look way better as well.
