Mike is totally the man!

bought his oscar wheel off of him on friday as we had been talking about doing a wheel all week over the phone and he offered up the oscar wheel to me. It's premium Bolivian Rosewood (morado) and is 15.5". he's shipping it out on monday and should be here in san francisco just around the time my M3W arrives. couldn't be more excited.

below are some pics mike recently took of it and emailed me as he was in the process of finishing it up. since the morgan mount is only 3 screws he's going to fill the other holes with rivets giving it a really nice look. we're in talks about doing something for the center. maybe a badge, maybe a cap. not sure. need to see what it looks like mounted. will be sure to take lots of pics and share. Enjoy

Gorgeous. Please post a photo once it is on your M3W.

That looks fabulous Blake and you've beaten me to it! I look forward to seeing the photos of your 3W, plus several with the wheel in situ. thumbs

Cheers
Brian

Blake, I can machine you a hub with the identical 6 bolt pattern so all visible fasteners look the same. That's what I'll be doing on my wheel that Mikeis finishing up ( with the little v cut outs on the spokes) andim mounting a Morgam lapel pin in it for a center focal point.

And Areoman, if you go back to Morgan, try and find my Bugatti Blue x Chocolate Brown quilted leather M3 and take a few 1000 photos,of it for me. Then post!

Are we having fun yet?

would love to see your hub/center combo. mike and i were talking about options with the lapel pin or logo. he had to run to amelia island this weekend so we'll take back up this week on the discussion. please keep me posted as well.

Hi Rufus,

I may be back in the Works this week, in which case I also take some photos of your 3W. Please PM me a chassis number as there just may be two Bugatti blue ones. If I do I'll swap you for a 6-bolt hub - only joking Rufus, I'll post anyway, but can I buy a 6-bolt hub from you for my wheel from Mike?

Cheers

Sure, once I set up the lathe and milling machine's index head these become pretty easy. I could do a brushed or polished aluminum, brass or copper. I'm also going to do a few engine turned dash panels to replace the leather stock pieces since the leather is either tan or black and does not match bespoke seats.

Vin ends in 2645, same as my new Tattoo .......kidding

Thanks for taking photos.
