Yes. But I'd rather retain the English Language as it should be... No offence to those across the pond

Graham
I've just looked up "Zerk" on Wikipedia.
Named after the inventor Oscar U Zerk!! (Honestly)
Apparently the fitting allows a more angled approach to the grease nipple!
I know we shouldn't poke fun at people's names, but that's a cracker.

Apparently the fitting allows a more angled approach to the grease nipple! Err, yes. Not quite sure whether I should answer that

So....getting down to the nitty gritty technical details....we can call straight nipples "nipples" and upturned pert nipples "Zerks" ? Seems ok to me and will get around any of those dreadful connotations.

Grease fittings are rarely found on today's consumer goods, appliances, or cars, because maintenance-free products have more sales appeal to the general public. Morgan?

Right! That does it! I am definitely NOT going to post any pictures of the LLB in her days as a Malboro Girl! Bud __________ 2003 - 4/4 Simon. Perhaps the Budster might feel more inclined to post his much hinted at photos if there was a "Members Only" photo gallery. At least that would narrow the circle of viewers from the world in general to us few gentile and distinguished members.
