I suspect, from the position of the cars, it would be very hard for her insurers to claim the Aston came at her sideways.

I think "our Barbie" might be in a bit of trouble with her Insurers...I understand that they frown on anyone admitting liability and to do so, I'd have thought it would be pretty difficult to point the finger of blame at the Aston driver but then, knowing insurance companies.....

He will get 10% of the blame because he was actually there. I cannot believe that it would cost £180,000 to repair an AM. I bet here premiums will be a little more next year. On the bright side, she was insured.

I think blame or not if you admit liability you might invalidate your cover under their terms and (wiggle out of it) conditions, or something like that.
I can imagine her insurance premium might be tweaked up at renewal though.

Pointed out if they can repair a Mclaren how come they cant repair that . No way that's a write off. Totally repairable imho.

I had a Vanquish for several years and was told by Aston that, because of the 'glued' construction, that they were very nearly impossible to repair. Write offs were likely.
The Vanquish and DBS are similar cars - so I'm not totally shocked to hear it may be written off. Works Service (who repair these things) in Newport Pagnell will call it a write off I reckon.

If the Aston hadn't been there she may have impacted the fuel pump, and unless they have auto cut off, she may have fried in the ensuing inferno.......... So Bond probably saved her life.

You would have thought that AM would have designed in easily replaced crush zones to make repair easier........a bit like the Aeros wings Looking at the Micra it wasn't a major impact.

I had a Vanquish for several years ... Bravo Alpha Sierra Tango Alpha Romeo Delta * Did you enjoy it? Once drove a Lagonda for 400 yards (in the years known as BC - Before Centimetres) into a shipping container destined for the Middle East. Scared me *hitless. Jeremy * No offence
