We should probably skirt over the reason that Bombhole has its name. It is nothing to do with munitions!

Looking forward to Saturday. If the weather is like it has been here today sunny then it will be a nice day out. Hope for the same on Sunday for the Curborough taster day, too!

As a Norfolk boy, I always assumed it was because of The War (#2). Of course, as schoolboys we always shortened the name by approx 1 letter redcard

You didn't have two hours of snow then Graham like us here on the top of the Mendips? Mind, it didn't really settle (unlike yesterday's hail !) and we did have a lovely sunny set.

See you Sat. 11ish for me.

Nope, just a day of sunshine. I could have got a number of things done outside (like fitting radio kit to the Hippo), but the forecast was for showers, rain and odd thunderstorms. Usually if I start anything outside with that kind of forecast, I and my tools get wet. Wouldn't have done yesterday! Sat, probably around 10:30. Where are we parking, around the paddock area somewhere??

You there on Thursday Jeremy? You could recce the parking for us! Looking at the map there seems to be a lot of parking behind Merlin Motorsport.

PS. aiming to get there 10:30 to 11:00 I'll recognise Graham and your exhaust!

I'll wear a hat - depending on the weather. Just look for the beard!
Yes there is space behind Merlin Motorsport - if they haven't filled it with cars. The alternative, just after entering the pits area is towards the safety fencing straight ahead and turning right. This assumes the event hasn't got spectator parking marked up for elsewhere...

Graham/Jays

The event I watched last October was low-key enough to allow me to park near Merlin Motorsport : right next to Deano and his new Plus8.

I'll aim for there again. I'd suggest a rendezvous near Chunky 4/4's racer - I suspect it will be fairly prominently displayed laugh2. I think Williams are offering to scare people sh witless during lunchtime.

Jeremy

PS ALL TM'ers welcome! It's freeeee thumbs
