Having spent a few hours on the Detailing World forum ( http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/index.php ) I found this article on washing your pride and joy

Suffice to say I've just spent £100 and ordered kit which is a step up from my current £2 sponge and Turtle Nano wax.

I've been spending fair amount of time over there, trying to earn myself a title of "The judge, jury, and the excecutioner"

Detailing World is brilliant, learn alot if your keen to keep your P&J in pristine conditions, but sometimes it makes me laugh, whilst we post pics of our P&J, they were posting pics of scratches or who has the best water beading on their bodywork which is understandable considering the nature of the forum, but funny nevertheless...

Those people do take car cleaning to a new level.

Never thought I find myself uttering the words 'soap and sponge nerds'

For now I've settled on a couple of new buckets and a load of Maguires products.

Andy, from what I learn so far, Meguire APC is best for fabric cleaning, but the waxproducts not so good, I would still prefer Zymol, Gliptone is best for cleaning leather...

What are they recommending? A wash mit?

Two actually, one for the dirty bits, one for the less dirty bits

I've found a few minor scuff marks on the sills where you step out of the car, I'm sure they would be worthy of posting on Detailing World.

Any detailers fancy giving me a hand to remove them

Andy, is it scuff marks on the plastic film? There are some scuff marks on mine, just could not get rid of it

ps just bought zymol concours for £105 from a member

I don't have any plastic film on mine, the marks are just on the edge of the running boards.
