All the best,
Ian. Driving it back to Sweden (?) Ian?? That'll test the pressure gauge fully The AutoTrader pics look lovely. Reckon you've got a real bargain. Enjoy your miles. Jeremy

Hello there,
Hehe, yes the Aero is going to get driven instead of being in perpetual storage.

9.00am tomorrow the seller and I are meeting up, should be on my way by about 11 ish.
Don't know if I should buy the MOG plate, he wants 6k for it but I don't know if it's actualy worth that amount of money, I think I might have a shop around,
I would prefer a suitable MMC plate.
Ian.

DVLA has "V 888 MMC" available for £399. Several other "MMC" available. £6k for a two-number-plus-popular-three letters (28 MOG) is probably not "over the top" in that market but I would not part with that (buy V 888 and save £ 5,600 for a few services ) Cheers Jeremy

Congrats on the purchase..looks a nice car.... On the subject of oil pressure.. ...a wise old engine designer once told me that oil pressure is not all its made out to be when it comes to engines. The main function of oil is NOT to lubricate but to remove heat. There are several tonnes of pressure on a crank when a V8 is on song and you can imagine the heat that produces. Rover V8's I recall are fine on very low pressure... Here endeth the lesson....

Hi guys,
Dean, I'm from the UK, I have another property in Sweden.
Yeah that V888 plate looks nice, I'm going to have a look now on their website, thanks for that, actually many thanks.
I'm sure the Aero will be fine on the way to Sweden, I'm kinda looking forward to the drive to be honest, not looking forward to getting the car on the ferry though, I think I will need to be careful getting on there, don't want to put a dent in the front wing.

Ian. When crossing Hull Zeebrugger last year i can only say the Guys on the terminal were excellent, very respecful to the Max they loaded me onto the ferry with care and precision.
