Hi guys,

Well it all went well yesterday, bought the Aero, runs beautifully and just looks amazing, getting ready to head down to Harwich to catch the ferry to Denmark so might be out of Internet for a day or two.

One thing that's not good is the seal around both side windows, in places it's a bit drafty, with temperatures at - 12 at the minute in Sweden I'm kinda not looking to forward to the journey ahead, I guess it will be a case of a warm jacket and hat whilst driving.

I might hit a bit of snow, Denmark is pretty clear though thankfully, getting the aero home is a bit of a challenge, me thinks I'm going to have to be extremely careful with her, I wonder if I can get replacement side window seals from Morgan, other than that what a car and the service history is spot on, almost every year of to Morgan for a service, you can't really fault it for what it cost, it's just beautiful.

I hope to meet some of you at some point and I'm sure we will all have a laugh and a couple of beers, before I forget there was some paperwork for carcoon- so I'm guessing its been in a bubble for a while and I think that explains the overall condition of the Aero, I think I was lucky to find her in this condition with such low mileage, the owner was saying that 5 Morgan dealers had offered to buy her sight unseen at full asking price.

I'm going to head off in a little while so I will keep you updated when I get to Denmark.

All the best to everyone and safe travels to all.

Ian.

Ian, it sounds like you've bought a good one.

The seals are available but, you may find, it will simply be a matter of having the hood frame adjusted (they can come out of alignment and allow water/drafts in). If you struggle to get the seals, let me know.

Safe drive home and look forward to seeing some photos at your leisure.

Congratulations Ian, that sounds like a great purchase! cheers flag

I'm sure that you'll enjoy driving and also fettling such issues as the seals. Will we see you in May when we are on our Nordkapp Challenge?

Best wishes
Brian

Best wishes with your new Aero and safe motoring back to Sweden.
I find the cabin heat in the S1 is up to the job, small cabin, big engine. I would think, even with gaps in the seals, you will survive.
