Hi guys,
Thanks for all the Warm comments, much appreciated.
Well I got the Harwich to Eisberg ferry, landed in Denmark at around 1pm, have driven all day and am now at a hotel in Varnamo in Sweden, got loads of miles to drive, about 700 more I think, went through a white out snow blizzard, that was scary, flipping wipers only clear part of the screen.
All ok though, found a hotel and got in for the night at 10pm the car handles well when you hit bad weather, steering is good as is traction and brakes, yeah my right leg got a bit cold earlier Dean, just looked and the car is still up for sale, dog tired now, freezing weather here, don't think I will drive after dark, - to dangerous. Sorry this is a lousy update, got to get some sleep for the big push tomorrow, averaging around 100 miles to a quarter of a tank, running on shell v max, car is covered in salt from a salt spreader that I had to overtake on the e4 so plenty of cleaning in a day or so, probably use a hose and cold water to get rid of the salt, I will say after being in the saddle for hours it's really quite comfortable, not a bad cabin, nicely laid out, controls are easy, to sum up I would say it's a gentleman,s express, you could cover a lot of miles in a day without much discomfort, oddly enough the faster I went the more firmly planted on the ground it became,
It's 22.41 and I'm of to sleep, I took a few pictures and I will upload them in a day or so,
I am on my iPad so if there are any typos my apologies,
Ok guys, stay safe and take care and speak soon,
All the best to you all,
Ian.

Thanks for the update and keep having fun! Just beware, tank will not give you 400 miles its not linear in reporting more like 200-225 miles between fill ups.
Cheers

Hi guys,
Boshly, I'm getting more than that mate, I did 300 miles and still had quarter of a tank left.
I got of the road early today, weather was bright and clear but I hit snow again so decided to stop early at Gavle, I had planned on pushing on for home but with the weather thought i should pull over so stopped here at Gavle,
Stockholm was manic with more cars and lorries that I would care to see, quite tricky going through there without a sat nav.
Car is going well, 2nd fill up on Vmax, I reckon the car needed a good run, seems to be going great, actually better now than before.
On fuel,
I filled up at Morrisons in Harwich right next to the port, and 2 more fill ups at Shell garages in Sweden, still have close to half a tank left, I didn't fill up in Denmark I don't recall, so I must have driven right through, that's nearly 270 miles, Im sure I'm on my 3rd tank and have driven at least 600 plus miles, I'll have a look at the trip meter tomorrow just to be sure.
I love the illumination of the dashboard lights at night, an unusual colour but it looks great.
Just a question on the heated windows, when you turn the system on does the heater switch light up to indicate ON, I noticed at night the. Button is dimly illuminated and when you turn on the system the button light goes dark, I thought that was strange, I had ice on my front windows and it took ages to clear.
Steering is bit twitchy, this car has had an electric power steering pump fitted, anybody else have this symptom, I obviously have power steering, I can tell it works, but the steering feels stiff sometimes when you are driving along on the motorway in a straight line, then if you want to change lane that's where it wants to oversteer, so you have to be careful when changing lanes, you only need to turn the steering wheel a little, to much and your toast, it feels like the car has a quick rack fitted.
Im off to get some dinner at the hotel so I will check in later

Maybe it's a diesel nuclear battery hybrid variant, but seriously I'm getting over 300 miles before I start thinking about filling up.
All the best,
Ian.
