Looking at the Aero Coupe price list there is an option for "heated seat mats : £400". Anyone know what these are ?

Surely not an electric cushion that plugs into the 12v supply? If so a hot water bottle would be cheaper.

I had 'heated seats' fitted by Allon White last year at £70 less than the MMC price quoted. Best after market extra I have ever fitted. They are basically mats of wires that sit under the leather and on top of the foam cushion on the seat and lumbar region of seat back. After sitting on seat for a long drive you can just see the outline of the mat. Went out last w/end and had them on full (2 settings) and got home warm as toast

I have heated seat mats in my Roadster. I am dead set against "upgrades" to Morgans such as power steering and suspension "improvements" as these things take away from the traditional character and feel of the car. But heated seats are fine - just a way to keep a bit warmer in the dead of winter when the hood is down. Mine get hot very quickly though - and I can't have them on for more than about 10 minutes before my posterior starts to feel scorched.
