How hard are you pushing down?
Suspension is 'Firm'...

I would say no. Try pushing on the top wing you should get a few inches of movement downards.

If not either you have very strong springs fitted or something is seized. Try claening off the old grease & then greasing the suspension.

Then something is wrong. Try greasing I guess but clean out the old gease first on the lower springs in case that crud is blocking the movement.

Definitely not right!
Do you have covers over the lower springs to prevent road crud getting onto the lower ends of the king pins?

Try greasing as you turn lock to lock.If the grease won't go in, use a bit of heat carefully applied to the stub axle. It will melt the grease inside - not too much heat though!!

At 2003 it could have those "nylon" bushes.
