Whilst reluctant to say I 'enjoyed' reading your article (for obvious reasons), it was another example of how powerful stories told by the person at the centre of a life changing event are. Thank you for sharing it with us.

The more cancer stories we can share, the easier I believe it becomes for men to talk about pre-screening and, if necessary, treatment.

Spending money? One of my Scottish mates...another Morgan owner...keeps telling me that there are no pockets in a shroud! Strange coming from a Scotsman!! Off to Williams tomorrow for a set of Avons and that's it for a while!

Mr B.... great article. Interesting magazine as well...would have been nice to have had that to read when Clare was alive. Nice photo of you looking very dapper but this is my favourite!

Agreed a nicely written article Simon. I (we) can appreciate some of the sense of shock and the need to re appraise life's pathway forwards after a diagnosis for my wife a couple of years ago.

Bud

congratulations for taking control of your situation and being prepared to share it. Reading about another persons experience is such a helpful thing for those in the middle of it. Best wishes for the road ahead.

p.s. top down and smelling every rose on the way.

Reading the article has brought a tear to me eye. Not in sadness but more because of the touching way the article is written.

As has been said before by others in this tread, and other threads on TM, it is good for all of us to get the topic of cancer 'out of the closet'. thumbs

May we all take strength from you, Bloshy and others. cheers

TM has become much more that a Morgan DG, it is some times Our Shed, and sometimes 'that corner in a quite pub'. grouphug
