An 'old' Morgan engineer/race driver called Colin Musgrove designed a couple of good ones. The ones I see at the factory increase rear spring rate too much in my view. Not a lot of space to do much different from the factory or MulFab, so they stop windup and tramp but stiffen the rear rate. Fit such to go racing with a big motor or not for fast road work.
I like the option of tele dampers mounted leaning fore/aft as the aftermarket fitments are as these dampers then work in axle windup and damp it down, the current damper arrangement of them leaning in at the top are far less good at damping windup - there's progress again - not. Mmmmmm! PJB

I'm not sure! Should it have one as standard?

I thought that the new Roadsters came fitted with one anti tramp bar and a panhard rod as standard?

Not sure about the Panhard rod J. But, I haven't seen a 3.7 in build, yet... smile

The conclusion....covered so many times in the past on here, is that MMC prefer to stay with the past on the basis that most of their customers want it. So why go to the expense of developing a new rear suspension until they are forced to when the supply of back axles dries up.

Oh...I'm sorry. The link you showed...Gomog...shows the Mulfab anti tramp bars...which Morgan fit to the Roadster and will fit to other Trads as well.

Or have I missed something?

Mike, please don't assume what MMC will do ref the SUPLEX front suspension, discussions are on going.
Rear suspension development is in progress, but has to be confidential for now, sorry.
Thanks for you comments and interest. Regards PJB.

Mike, really no apology needed, I was a bit too brief maybe - it was only that MMC are a 'law unto themselves' and they will decide in due course whether or not to stock kit, or fit to customers' cars or fit in production as an option. In the mean time UK Morgan dealers and specialists can discuss & buy from SUPLEX UK Ltd. Regards PJB.
