I own a Plus 4 Supersport.I thought that the front suspension as fitted by the factory left quire a lot to be desired for the average driver who like me drives on country lanes in the north of England.I asked the Factory for advice on how to improve the ride quality particulary accelerating out of bumpy corners.Three months latter I still havnt got a sensible answer.
So I have fitted one of the suplex kits WOW I now have a car that works. Its a bit sad but my wifes comment is "it feel like a normal car now"The feel is Morgan and allways will be the ride Is now correct there is virtually no roll with high speed cornering the feel whilst breaking is much improved and I find the steering lighter because the rebound spring only has a light contact on the stub axle. This modification gives the driver a choice of how quickly they want to drive not being limited to the condition of the road surface.Thankfully no more POGO BOBBING UP AND DOWN.

David, welcome to TalkMorgan - so glad you like the SUPLEX kit - it makes all the work developing the system worthwhile.
Regards PJB - who did a lot of the test driving and damper setting work on the kit ;-)

Yes I was getting quite quick at swapping springs, but after a dozen or so sometmes days apart I was managing 1 hour per side, but I am only an engineer not a mechanic. OK setting the correct rebound spring condition can be time consuming first time and then there is the tracking to check/set. Hopefully another happy dealer and customer! Thanks for feedback - PJB.

Mike et al. Rear suspension ~ new leaf spring design to better control windup/tramp; all I can say is that it will definately be this year. I need to discuss this with the company before any time for release can be specified. Thanks for your feedback and interest - PJB. (the nut behind the wheel)

I tend to see a lot on these pages of how to changes bits and pieces to improve their Morgan and I guess to some small degree I am also guilty of this. I just don't understand why you buy a particular type of car and then spend an awful lot of money trying to replicate the performance/ handling/image of everything else.

I bought my car because it was a Morgan, I understood that it had a lot of warts and freckles, but without those it wasn't a Morgan. I don't want to drive a Maserati with a Morgan body on the top just to look good, I want to drive a Morgan.

At what point do you lose your Moran and gain a Hybrid?

Dear Digimap,
The best Reason for any one to modify the front suspension with this kit is Safety. The brakes work better if you drove too hard into a corner you stand a lot more chance of maintaining control because the wheels are now in contact with the ground not hopping about.
This is not fitting a badge bar or a stereo this is a major development for all trad Morgan owners by a company who are specialist in suspension matters. With two years of road testing by a modest PJB.
I don't want to live in 1909,my car is a 2011 model and I think it should drive like the era it comes from.
I also own a 1994 4/4 which willstay in the in the era in which it was made.
Best Regards David.
P.S I have a new threewheeler also and new suspension is being developed for that.

I agree. Forward to 1909, that’s my motto.
