The Morgan case is not just VERY heavy, it doesn't seem to hold much either...with hindsight, I shouldn't have bought one...

You can buy these vacuum luggage bags that fit inside the suitcase. It doesn't matter how much rain you get, the clothes remain perfectly dry. The other advantage is that you can compress the clothes down and fit more in. Ideal for  who takes the kitchen sink as well.

Resurrecting an earlier thread, as Neilda has bought my Peli case, I have now ordered a Boot Bag (complete with discount as in Miscellany, March edn.). I did look at these when I owned an MX-5, but never spent the money...

I bought a Boot-Bag last year. Actually I have not been able to use it often, but so far it turned out to be reliable.
Only one thing annoyed me: there is no stable bottom provided.
So I went to a DIY shop, had them cut a piece from a 3 mm thick PVC board, rounded the edges myself to fit into the bag. Et voilà ...
