Afternoon Chaps - It was good to meet you all this morning.

But a BIG apology I did not make much of an effort to introduce myself around the group. Sorry

But a big Thank You on behave of Franks' H4H cause. We collected £100 see this link. It is entered under anonymous. I tried to get it to say 'Talk Morgan Group' but it did not come out, finger problem I guess. Frank's Help for Heroes page sorry I did get around to all of you. If you would like to donate you do so via the link above.

Charles Morgan speaks to TM

QUALITY - Bear in mind this is an impromptu hand held phone - not a studio set up.

Think I got 80 -85% before the battery died.

I just love the fact that a car company CEO can sit in the room with a bunch of forum enthusiasts and shoot the breeze about all things related to their company and not have an issue with it being recorded.

Charles should be roundly applauded by all of us! Jolly Good Show.

I'd love to see Luca in a room with the folks from fChat and record the result. Somehow I doubt that will ever happen though wink

Apologies from me also for dashing off at the end. MrsW was getting very fidgety, and was desperate to get back out on the hills, so I didn't get chance for many goodbyes. Like Steve I also didn't manage to talk to many other than the usual reprobates. As usual it was an excellent tour. I stll think we should have had name badges!
No doubt photos will be appearing if they haven't already. Maybe we should have had a group shot, but the time just went.
I didn't even get chance to give Richard's Elise the once over. Maybe for the best, since MrsW is still making token resistance noises.

Hi,

Many thanks to Clipper for organising the factory tour, very enjoyable, but not as enjoyable as my first drive of a Morgan wink

I hired Williams Morgans Plus 4 on Monday to drive up to the factory. I was worried about the length of the "nose", but soon got used to it and the heater worked very well for the chilly drive up the motorway to the factory. So much power from the 2 litre engine and a fantastic noise listening

Apologies for leaving so soon after the talk from Charles, but I had a great A and B road drive of about 1.5 hours back to Williams to drop the Morgan off and then a further 2 hour drive back home. The ride in the Morgan is about as hard as in my modified 1985 classic mini, you certainly feel every "bump" in the road, but acceleration was phenominal, gave a few boy racers a suprise laugh2 My left foot / leg was a bit uncomfortable as no footrest and a very narrow footwell, but don't think that would put me off wanting to own a Morgan cheers

I just need to start saving the pennies or sell more paintings / get more commissions or win the lottery to afford a Morgan, but a very enjoyable day and drive,

Neil
