Hi,
Many thanks to Clipper for organising the factory tour, very enjoyable, but not as enjoyable as my first drive of a Morgan

I hired Williams Morgans Plus 4 on Monday to drive up to the factory. I was worried about the length of the "nose", but soon got used to it and the heater worked very well for the chilly drive up the motorway to the factory. So much power from the 2 litre engine and a fantastic noise

Apologies for leaving so soon after the talk from Charles, but I had a great A and B road drive of about 1.5 hours back to Williams to drop the Morgan off and then a further 2 hour drive back home. The ride in the Morgan is about as hard as in my modified 1985 classic mini, you certainly feel every "bump" in the road, but acceleration was phenominal, gave a few boy racers a suprise

My left foot / leg was a bit uncomfortable as no footrest and a very narrow footwell, but don't think that would put me off wanting to own a Morgan

I just need to start saving the pennies or sell more paintings / get more commissions or win the lottery to afford a Morgan, but a very enjoyable day and drive,
Neil
