Hi all,
My 1600 crossflow 1970 4/4 has a Motorcraft distributor and its getting a little tired after 40+ years.
I would like to change it for a Lucas unit but can't see any that were originally fitted to that engine.
I know the Lucas 25D4 was fitted to the earlier 1500 engine, and wonder if anyone knows if that dizzy will fit in the 1600 x-flow motor.
Would be great if it does as points free kits are readily available for the Lucas one.
Thanks in "advance" (sic)
Geoff

Burton Power will be able to tell you for sure....that said you can still get Motorcraft parts from them (and fully reconditioned Motorcraft distributors).

As ever no link.

The Burtonpower electronic units are supplied by Aldon. I've had one for over ten years with no problems. I still carry a set of points mind.
