Just Getting Started

Tour of Wales (Sunday)
Bit cloudy on Sunday but had a spectacular drive south with detours into the hills.
The tour culminated with a drive over the Black Mountain. The weather by now had deteriorated with horizontal wind, mist and rain. The road over the Black mountain had a smooth surface, was narrow with sheer drops either side . It zig zagged to the top where there were still patches of snow. The rain was now blasting through my hood and I had a few hairy moments as my wide tyres let go a few times !!! The Aeros had disappeared by now but we survived and soon caught up. Very apt weather as we arrived at the 'haunted' Craig y Nos Castle Hotel . It was a great weekend meeting up with other Talk Morganers and putting faces to the avatars. many thanks to David (Clipper) for organising everything and John (dogmanjack) as our Sunday guide.
