I would agree Charles Morgan basically dodge the issue when raised by Jay. I have had Morgans for I guess 13 years both 1990's cars & touchwood never had a problem.
This seems to me a design fault Yes....he laughed, said the factory had plenty in stock, looked uncomfortable and changed the subject! PS. Thanks for the Ricky Evans link Sid.....I'll contact them.

He's done a lot to support and develop the brand down the years without alienating or marginalising its core client base.

It probably wasn't the right time for me to mention cracked screen to him...when he first bumped into him...it was a touch tongue in cheek but was fresh in my mind as it had just happened that day! He really isn't the right person to talk to..Steve Morris probably.

I agree with you on his support and development, but it is a shame that the windscreen problem seems to have been put into the factories' "Too Difficult" file.
As for my other comment; I will leave followers of Charles on Twitter to draw their own conclusions.

I suspect that Peter Morgan may have handled the whole subject in a totally different manner.
If it was my company, I would be taking a very serious interest in owners feedback. It doesn't take too much to get a bad name, but years to get a good one.

Whilst cleaning my 4/4 sport today I noticed that the driver`s side windscreen mounting fits absolutely flush with the side of the body, but the passenger side mounting has a gap about 1-2mm at the front edge of the casting where the body curves on to the bonnet - the back edge is flush.
As this is on the side where the window cracks does anyone think this could be the problem?
4/4 owners with cracked windscreens - have a look and see if yours is the same.

Is yours the new smooth line or old type ? before I go and Check, mine is 2009 (23,000mls) old type and currently sporting it's 3rd screen ! All cracked screens non-impact related.
