Has anyone fitted a folding windscreen to their Morgan? Any views on the quality of the folding brackets available on the market? Thanks

I fitted one to Woodstock but it was so long ago as to be useless for your purposes; I'm guessing 27 years ago...

Main thing with a folding screen is you won't be able to open the bonnet with it folded, so you'll have to raise the screen to check the oil etc.

You don't say what year your car is. The later cars....post 2005 (?) have a more tapered screen which makes the screen fold much higher up off the top of the bonnet. If you have the cast screen uprights I understand that it is not possible to convert to folding.

The ones I've seen at Heart of England look nicely made....anything made for John Worrall usually is!

I installed some about 30 years ago on my +4. They are chrome plated steel. During the summer month the glass is down pretty much all the time, but in the spring and fall its up and down daily depending on the temperature. Adds greatly to my enjoyment of the Mog.

The one from Melvyn umpteen years ago was stainless steel and I'd be very surprised if he or John Worral was offering anything else nowadays.
