Tango is in the process of being registered in Norway and it looks like that will take some time. In the mean time I will enjoy myself on my new bike, purchased today, delivered probably Friday.

Lost count on my bikes in the years(must be over 25),but I had a R100GS 1998 (white/blue) before. Most of the bikes were BMW and I still have a K1100RS/EML Speed200 , a R100/7 sidecar project and a Moto Guzzi 254 in the Garage(though the last one is actually in the living room)

VERY nice Rudolf! I have a 2010 GS and my dealer is very keen to get me to take a new one out for a test ride! Having spent a lot on Adventure panniers etc on mine and the fact that they are not transferable due to the exhaust system swopping sides...I'm going to have to wait a bit.
Have fun!!!

Well, collected the GS 2 weeks ago.Brillant bike, you only need to read the manual before starting because of all the functions like electronic suspension etc. Looks like the engine is a bit "raw" at low revs, but that might need some time.I presume that will be better after running in. Today the bike had the 1000 km service at a BMW dealer in Norway. The only shock was the invoice; 1.5 manhours with a rate of NOK 800 ex 25% vat per hour. This is GBP 110 per hour for a mechanic to work on a bike! That is a lot more than I was charged for the last service of Tango at a Morgan dealer in the UK earlier this year! Now I understand why all the Norwegians have their service on their vehicles done during the holidays abroad!
