i'm abroad and so can't try it for myself.... does anyone know if a helmet fits behind the seats? on the shelf, roof down, of course!
FYI i have Bell Mags, both a full and open face if that adds useful detail.

Parisa, I take it you are talking about travel in your Plus 4, if so, I have put all sorts behind the seats, holdalls, tools, cameras and pets so a couple of helmets should fit fine. The space is reduced if you have both seats fully back, but you can adjust this as required. The top down should not make too much difference.

I have a Shoei open face classic helmet and that fits with plenty of room behind the seats with roof down.

Does anyone actually wear a helmet on the open road? To me it makes a certain amount of sense to wear an open face helmet but her indoors would not hear of it.

I've only ever driven the 4/4 once with a helmet on.....trying the car out without a windscreen last summer as an experiment.

Jay. I,ve thought of this for motorway driving. Was your hearing impaired, or peripheral vision limited when you tried this?
