My Morgan is starting to get really dirty in the mucky weather we have been having but I am ceasing to care. I will of course clean it shortly but previously I could not stand a speck of dirt on it and had to wash it immediately. Driving around in a dirty car is quite liberating.

A man after my own heart...what is the point of cleaning a car that is only going to get dirty again.
My Plus Four is cleaned once a year as part of its annual service at the factory.
A dirty car is the sign of a healthy mind.

A dirty car is the sign of a healthy mind. What's a dirty mind the sign of  You are right and that was my thinking. I was looking forward to cleaning the car on Sunday, as is my ritual. But it's going to rain again so whats the point. Better to drive a dirty car and have no fear of the rain, puddles or dirt. The only thing I will polish is the fuel cap with a bit of autosol - I hate the look of the grime that builds up on that. I will wait until the weather is clearer until I wash the whole car.
