Just back from my regular hospital check up/chemo drug top up and fortunately my blood results are good. Whilst waiting, I realised that today was the 50th appointment since I was first diagnosed in June 2010: That's Hospital/Tests/GP - the lot.
The strange thing is that I still have a sleepless night prior to each hospital appointment. You would think I would have got use to it by now, especially as the ward I attend is a really happy, inspirational place.

Mind you, yesterday I drove a new Superdry M3W. What a nice contrast to the very early production M3W I drove last year.
Wonderful fun, but not if you want to remain discrete. drive

Make that 5, I started as programmer, rose to Program and Test Manager positions, spent 10 years, living out of a suitcase on contracts in UK EU, baled out at 45 exhausted, always feeling angry/stressed and probably on edge of a breakdown. It took me 3 years to feel normal. Now I and swmbo run B&B in lovely Beer, Devon. Had a couple of local PT jobs, and now work PT for Apple in Tech. role in Exeter, got this by accident, pays for goodies and keeps us above water.

Do I miss what I used to do , absolutely not, I'd probably be dead by now if I had carried on. We have a 1/3 the money, but still do lots of stuff, and I now enjoy my life as I have time to be me, walk Harry our lovely Irish Setter and play with Rosie.

Life's too Short, it's not a dress rehearsal, live for today, and try not to have regrets....
cheers wine

If your here again, let me know and you can pop in and say hello and have a cuppa, we are below Peco. (Chance to buy a railway then)
